Jakub took part in an internship abroad at Hasselt University in Belgium from 7.1.2023 to 27.1.2023. He worked with a PhD student Bram Lentjes under the guidance of his supervisor Professor Peter De Maesschalck. They mainly worked on the application of power series theory and Gevrey's theory asymptotic developments in the theory of delay differential equations. They attempted to extend the existing knowledge in this field and the results of their collaboration and they are writing up the results in the form of a manuscript now. Jakub participated in two dissertation defences (Maikel Bosschaert, Len Spek) and Dmitry Novikov's lecture and he also presented the results of his research at a workshop. It seems to have been successfully to establish contact with Professor Maesschalck and Bram Lentjes with good prospects for future cooperation.
